Absolutely amazing at what she does, Suzi made our special day perfect. She is some knowledgeable and let us know about hand fasting at our wedding, which we chose to do. After briefly speaking to Sue on the phone we arranged to meet-up. I liked that Sue wanted to get to know us a little so she could ensure our ceremony was personal and not just the usual formalities. We found Sue friendly, warm and down to earth and it is clear that she cares about what she does and is very professional. On the day Sue made the ceremony perfect and delivered our story in a funny and sincere way. Many of our guests came up to us afterwards and said how much they enjoyed the ceremony. It certainly felt special to Paul and I. We also included the hand tying tradition which was a nice addition to the ceremony suggested by Sue. Also, our ring bearer, Charlie, our Maltese puppy who Sue was more than happy to allow take part in the proceedings. I cannot recommend Sue enough. She made our wedding day special as she is simply a very special person who I will remember. Thank you again.
We booked Sue as the celebrant for our wedding. My wife was nervous about being the centre of attention on the day but Sue was able to immediately put us at ease. We had a meeting with her and filled in a questionnaire – using this, she crafted a lovely ceremony for us that made us feel comfortable and in control, as well as being intimate and personal. She worked with us on the readings we wanted. On the day the ceremony was beautiful. We were so happy with how it went and cannot recommend Sue highly enough!

Sue was an excellent celebrant for our wedding this year. She crafted us such a wonderful ceremony script, which took in all the key moments of our personal love story. It was charming and funny, and we got lots of positive comments from the guests throughout the day about how unique and “us” the ceremony script was which was great, and shows Sue really managed to capture our personalities. This is the kind of personal touch you don’t really get with a registry wedding, so was really appreciated.
Sue was very communicative throughout the process of planning the script for the day, and helpfully was available to meet in our home town of Pontefract rather than us having to travel, so this made the process even easier. She is great to chat to and really helps you come out of your shell. She is also very open to anything that you would like to include in your ceremony, e.g. hand fasting, and can recommend relevant readings and nice touches for the wedding ceremony.

Not sure what else I can say other than our day was amazing and having Suzi as our celebrant was a big part of that. From the first message to the day Suzi was easy to talk to, professional and was always helpful with our plans for what we wanted. The ceremony itself was superb, the words she put together for our vows and love story were perfect, full of our love for each other and plenty of humour to give our guests a good chuckle at our expense.
All in all I can highly recommend Celebrant Suzi.
I rang Suzi last minute after a let down to perform my ceremony . She put everything together quickly for us and personalised it down to a T! She has been patient and very informative with us. Nathan and I would just like to say thank you so much to Sue for making our ceremony as perfect for us as can be. As we were already married abroad we wanted a blessing ceremony for all our family and friends here. We didn’t make it easy as it was so last minute organising this but nothing was too much for her. We gave our history and how we’d met and details of our many adventures and she made the most amazing ceremony suited for us. We chose Sue as the celebrant for our wedding after being unable to get a registrar for the date of our wedding, and we are so glad we did! From the very first meeting we had Sue kept in touch and kept us informed, always sending us drafts of our ceremony to make sure it was perfect. We had multiple meetings with Sue so she could get to know me and josh and really made our ceremony personal. She made sure that our ceremony ran smoothly and everything was organised. So much time and effort was put into our ceremony from Sue and this was made clear when it finally came down to the day and Sue conducted our ceremony. All our guests commented on how nice it was and how lovely Sue was as a person too.

Sue was recently the Celebrant for my Mums Celebration of Life Service. She was a great comfort from start to finish. Lots of communication back and forth. Piecing together the various stories and timelines from my 2 brothers and I. Coming up with a coherent narrative and a fitting tribute to Mum. Always seeking feedback at various stages to make sure we were happy. Then on the day itself, Sue lead the ceremony confidently and professionally but with a human touch, with feeling and empathy. Everyone who attended said that the service was excellent and it could not have been achieved without Sue.

Sue was the perfect choice for my late mother’s funeral service. She spent time with us, asked all the right questions so she could create a lovely eulogy. Sue was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, she helped to write the eulogy for my dads service. Losing my dad was sudden & a huge shock to our family, Sue was so empathetic but not in a patronising way, she was so patient and did everything she could to accommodate our wishes, in fact she really couldn’t do enough & kept in touch the whole time. We kept adding further details right up to the last minute & it was absolutely no trouble at all to change & add bits. I cannot recommend Sue highly enough. 💙

Sue was wonderful from start to finish. Very friendly but professional at the first meeting& she had to have the eulogy written the same day due to time constraints. The service was lovely, very personal yet professional. I would definitely want Sue to conduct any future services for us.
Sue conducted my mothers funeral service which took place under Corvid restrictions. The service was delivered in a professional and compassionate manner with the eulogy portraying her life and times as if she had personally known Mary for many years. Family and friends commented saying how comfortable and natural it had all been. We would recommend Sue to anyone.

Sue was tasked with a very difficult Eulogy for a dear friend who had no family and was reclusive for the last 20 years! Sue was just superb. She clearly spent a lot of time thinking about what was needed at the funeral and although there was very little information to glean from the few that knew him, we felt she did him very proud. Sue led and conducted my brother’s funeral service and was carried out in a very compassionate way. As I live in Norway and unable to travel due to Covid restrictions, my siblings and I needed someone to portray our words in a way that was humorous but respectful.
